The 24-hour Business Center includes computer workstations with laser-jet printers and high-speed Internet access. With its plush, sofas and roomy chairs, the adjacent Business Lounge is a comfortable place to read the newspaper or catch up on the day’s events via high-tech plasma monitors.

An ideal alternative to the typically staid conference room are Clift’s stylishly appointed Meeting Rooms. These three stunning rooms featuring dramatic white velvet curtains, etched Venetian mirrors and Philippe Starck's modern interpretation of classic banquet furniture are located on the Mezzanine level and are available for meetings & events.

The newly redesigned Clift, in the heart of San Francisco's Union Square, takes modern luxury to another level and is an inspired fusion of old-world hotel elegance with distinctly contemporary energy and glamour.

The Gym at Clift features state-of-the-art fitness equipment, as well as flat screen TV’s throughout. Open to hotel guests 24-hours a day, the Gym also offers private trainers, available upon request.

Formerly the private home of the late Frederick Clift, the Spanish Suite now serves as an elegant private function room. Many period details remain, including rich wood paneled walls, two enormous crystal chandeliers, and a wood-burning fireplace.

Clift's 363 guest rooms are generously proportioned and elegantly decorated with luxurious fabrics – silks, leathers and velvets, all in tranquil shades – ivories, greys and lavenders, which combine to create an effect that is richly layered and sophisticated.

Chic and elegant, while at the same time warm and comfortable, The Private Apartment is Clift’s most sumptuously appointed guest accommodation. Boasting original wood paneled walls and fireplace, as well as beautiful custom Starck-designed furnishings, the Private Apartment has the look and feel of a classic turn of the century home, with a distinctly modern twist.

Located just off the main lobby, and evoking the spirit of an old English club or drawing room, the Living Room is furnished with large comfortable velvet sofas, leather wing chairs, and classic library lamps.
